at Villa Bellaria

Villa Bellaria sits just outside Campagnatico, a small medieval village in the Maremma in southern Tuscany. Florence is about two hours north, Rome about three hours southeast, and the valley of the river Ombrone runs below the garden.

We have reserved the entire villa for our wedding week and would love for you to stay with us! Rooms will be available to book at a per-person rate. If you have any questions you can reach out to the bride and groom.

Our special day

It's a blessing to be spending this special time with our family & friends. Getting everyone to a hilltop in southern Tuscany is a big ask, and it means a lot that you're coming.

We'll keep this page updated as details firm up: room assignments at the villa, and what to wear.

We can't wait to see you soon.

With love,Laci and Clayton

Where we'll all be

Villa Bellaria

The villa is wrapped in a large historical park with a terrace garden that looks out over the valley of the river Ombrone, lit at night by old street lamps.

Inside the park you can sit somewhere quiet with the parrots singing, or cool off in the pool surrounded by greenery.

Everyone invited to the wedding stays at the villa. An RSVP holds your room for all four days, May 10 through 13, so please only reply yes if you can be there for the whole stay. Lodging cost will be shared per person shortly.

The terrace garden

The high point of the park, looking down the Ombrone valley. This is where we'll be most evenings.

The pool

Ringed by greenery and the reason the 12th is a pool party. Bring something to swim in.

The village

Campagnatico is a short walk. A handful of places to eat, a lot of stone, good light in the evening.

Getting here

Travel

Two airports work. Florence is closer, Rome usually has better fares from the US. Both connect to the villa by train plus a short drive.

Option one

Florence

Amerigo Vespucci (FLR), the shorter trip

  • 20 minTram T2 from the terminal to Firenze Santa Maria Novella
  • 2h 20mTrain to Grosseto. Verify times on Trenitalia.
  • 30 minCar to Villa Bellaria in Campagnatico

Option two

Rome

Fiumicino (FCO), more nonstops from the US

  • 32 minLeonardo Express to Roma Termini
  • 2h 15mTrain to Grosseto. Verify times on Trenitalia.
  • 30 minCar to Villa Bellaria in Campagnatico

On the ground

Last leg

Campagnatico has no train station

  • TaxiAvailable at Grosseto station, roughly €45 to €60. Book ahead for evenings.
  • RentalWorth it if you want to see the Maremma. There is parking at the villa.
  • TransfersOnce you've booked, tell us when you land and we'll help you sort the last leg.

Work backward from a 3pm arrival on May 10 when you book. Regional service to Grosseto thins out later in the day, and the last useful connection from Florence leaves earlier than you'd expect.

RSVP

You're RSVPing for May 10th through the 13th, 2027. A yes holds your room at Villa Bellaria for all four days, and lodging cost will be shared per person shortly. If you can't be there the whole time, don't reply here. Reach out to us directly and we'll figure it out together.

Replies run through Zola. Find your name, tell them who's coming with you, and that's it. Their page opens in a new tab.

Can't find your name on the list, or need to talk through the dates? Please call or text the bride or groom and we'll sort it out.

Questions

Do I book a hotel?

No! Everyone will be staying together at the villa, so there's no need to book your own accommodations. Your RSVP will reserve your room for the weekend. Once all the details are finalized, we'll reach out with information about the accommodation deposit and payment timeline.

Do I need a car?

Not for the four days. Everything happens at the villa and the village is walkable. Rent one if you want to explore the Maremma before or after.

Can I come for part of it?

Talk to us. Rooms are held for the full stay, so shorter visits need a bit of coordination.
